Can I be a customer of Green Mountain Florist Supply?
You can purchase hard good supply items if you are a registered business with the intent to RESELL. To purchase fresh flowers, you must be a full service retail florist or be actively involved in the business of buying and reselling cut flowers on a regular basis, averaging $150 or more of fresh flower purchases p/week ($7,500 p/year)
What do I need to apply for customer status?
You must have a Vermont State Tax Exempt Number and/or Federal Identification Number if your business is out of state. Then complete and submit the New Customer Application (this includes Resale Certificate forms). A New Customer Application is available by clicking the link found on the right column of this page.
How long does the approval process take?
The review of your application generally takes 3 days, after which a GMFSI Customer Number will be assigned. Purchases may be made after the Customer Number is assigned.
Once I’m approved, can anyone make purchases for me?
Up to two buyers may be specified on your application, along with your driver who may need to pick up your order. Friends, relatives, your customers, etc. are not authorized to be in our store or pick up your items.
As a customer, can I buy from either of your locations?
Yes, you may buy from either our Middlesex or South Burlington stores.
What are accepted methods of payment?
GMFSI accepts cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express or a good business check. Personal checks are accepted only with prior special approval.
What are GMFSI’s hours?
Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. , Saturday: 7:00 – 10:00 a.m. , Sunday: Closed. *Note: During major floral holidays we increase our weekend hours! Call ahead or check our website for an updated holiday schedule.
