Global tariffs remain a fluid and evolving issue. Currently, Dutch tariffs have raised prices on flowers out of Holland, while South American pricing has stayed relatively stable. On the hard goods side, Accent Décor has implemented a temporary 5% tariff surcharge (effective June 9th), and other vendors are beginning to follow.
While we can’t predict global changes, we can plan ahead together. Here are a few updates to support your success:
1. New Weekly Flower Price Sheet
We are revising our Weekly Flower Price Sheet format. Flowers will now be organized by region/country to help you select the best product to meet both your design needs and price point.
2. Supply Pricing Commitment
We are committed to maintaining our current supply product pricing through July 4th, 2025.
3. Plan S.M.A.R.T. with Green Mountain Floral Supply’s Guidelines:
S – Secure what you need early – popular supplies move quickly.
M – Maximize your options by placing your flower orders early.
A – Anticipate demand and prepare for substitutions if needed.
R – Reserve rentals early to ensure availability.
T – Talk regularly with your clients and vendors so everyone’s thinking is aligned.
