Inside Green Mountain Floral Supply’s 2025 Holiday Open House

For more than 25 years, Green Mountain Floral Supply has marked the arrival of the holiday season with a transformation — when nearly 15,000 square feet of showroom space becomes a festive, floral wonderland for the Annual Holiday Open House. This year’s event, held October 25 – November 1, carried on that tradition in dazzling style.
“Our Holiday Open House is something we look forward to all year,” said Tom Jennings, co-owner of Green Mountain Floral Supply. “It’s more than a celebration of the season — it’s an opportunity to inspire, connect, and say thank you to the floral professionals who make this industry thrive.”
From the moment customers stepped through the doors of the South Burlington showroom, they were greeted by a joyful showcase of design and imagination. Vignettes inspired by nature, nostalgia, and new trends filled every corner — from snow-dusted rustic woodland scenes to glamorous holiday red and gold palettes and cheerful pops of holiday red all throughout. The result was a warm, welcoming space where creativity came alive.
This year’s transformation was again guided by the artistry of Marlin Hargrove, AIFD, PFCI, AAF, Green Mountain Floral Supply’s guest designer-in-residence from Atlanta.
Marlin spent the week leading up to the event working closely with staff to bring each display to life, sharing insights from his more than four decades of experience and adding his signature flair to every detail, seen visually in the following designed spaces of The Rustic Lodge; Wings of Winter; Après Ski; Winter Frost; and Golden Treasures.
The Week’s Events
During opening weekend, Marlin was also on hand to lead customer tours of the many showroom vignettes, explain his design choices and provide insight into creative product merchandizing.
“Marlin brings a contagious energy,” said Kim Jennings, co-owner at Green Mountain Floral Supply. “His passion for design and teaching elevates the entire experience for our customers and our team.”
Throughout the week-long Open House, customers enjoyed:
- Showroom shopping appointments with supply staff
- Exclusive supply specials
- Daily lunches and cookie breaks
- Ever-popular 30% off Sale Room
The event once again featured Green Mountain’s Giving Tree Food Drive, encouraging guests to bring non-perishable food or paper products for the South Burlington Food Shelf. Each donation earned a raffle ticket for a chance to win a pre-lit holiday tree — and helped support the fight against food insecurity in the community. Congratulations to Donna of Petal Patch Flowers and Specialty Gifts in Newport, NH who was the winner of our raffle!

The Open House continues to be a highlight of the year for florists, crafters, designers, and shop owners from across the region. It’s a place to gather fresh ideas, discover new products, and celebrate the beauty and creativity that define the floral industry.
As the week wrapped up, one thing was clear: the spirit of the season shines brightest when shared with community.
Mark your calendar for next year’s event, October 24 – 31, 2026 — and experience the inspiration for yourself!
